It’s the fifth of January and it feels like I’ve already done so much. I tried to avoid overplanning at the beginning of the year but it doesn’t take away the energy wave I’m currently riding on (and which keeps me awake at night too). In good and in bad.
Until this very moment, I’ve seen light installations in Lux Helsinki, had several arguments with my daughter, wrote four random texts and the morning pages every morning, realized I still have some mulled wine left, cleaned home and took all the Christmas decoration down, met my parents, cried, read one book and a half book, learned more about conversion optimization, Google Adwords and Google tag manager, written CSS, been in the office more than once, sketched a new product, updated some of our own websites, published ten Instagram posts, read about solar eclipse, ate sushi, started a new calendar and a new mini notebook for random thoughts, published an article in my blog, found two black tunics and two silver spoons from a second-hand shop, bought a pink stool with fake fur on it and a mini Wacom board for work, got our leftover products back from the Christmas pop up shop, found an interesting new blog, participated in the social media challenge and started to use reusable cotton pads. AND I wrote this particular text and it’s the fifth of my daily writing challenge tasks.
Things I haven’t done in this year even I wanted to:
-had any exercise
-answer all the emails and other messages
-put some posters on the wall
Tomorrow we will bring our new kitten home and on Tuesday all the school and work and so on start again. While I was writing this, it started finally snowing. It seems we’re in full gear already. Just bring it on, I may not be ready but I’ve already started!
Let this year be magical af! (And please let me sleep a bit too!)
